Mission & approach

Trips built for access, dignity, and freedom outside.

Rugged Access exists so people of all abilities can experience the Colorado backcountry to the fullest. We pair adaptive equipment with trained professionals who listen, and itineraries shaped by each participant, all within a supportive community.

01 • Access

Gear that can handle real terrain

We work to match each participant with the equipment they need for a safe, smooth, and memorable adventure.

02 • Support

A trained pro who understands

Our founder, Justin Callison, is a trained physical therapist based in the Vail Valley who brings clinical skill and backcountry experience to every outing.

03 • Community

Trips that feel like team wins

We create trips where everyone shares the effort and the celebration—building connections that last beyond the trail.
